Constitution of Committee for change in the rules of Rajya Sabha

M. Venkaiah Naidu Rajya Sabha Chairman M Venkaiah Naidu has constituted a two-member committee to make changes in the rules and procedures of the House on 07 May 2018 and specifically for the suspension of member who deliberately hindered the proceedings of the House. It has been decided to change the rules and procedures for the purpose of running the work of the Upper House better. This committee will give its recommendations by talking to MPs and experts and studying the rules of the Houses of different countries.

Telangana hosted International Seed Trial Association (ISTA) Congress

ISTA Telangana hosted the 32nd edition of  International Seed Training Union Congress . It is the first version of ISTA Congress to be held in Asia. Scientists, policy makers, researchers and public and private seed industry members from  more than 80   countries  are participating in the Congress. K Natarajan will be the new director general of the Indian Coast Guard

K Natarajan Krishnaswamy Natarajan  has been appointed as  the next Director General of the Indian Coast Guard . He will replace  Rajendra Singh,  who is retiring after three and a half years of excellent service. Of Natarajan joined the Coast Guard on January 18, 1984, and is a recipient of postgraduate degree in Defense and Strategic Studies from the University of Madras.
