The goods and services tax (GST) officers are working on a system in which companies having more than a certain limit will have to remove 'e-challan' for each sale on government or GST portal. This will reduce the scope of tax evasion to a great extent.

At the beginning, units with more than a certain limit will get a specific number on each electronic or e-invoice. Further, companies must remove the full electronic tax invoice or e-invoice at the full price of the sale.
