BCCI recommends Arjuna Award for four cricketers including Jaspreet Bumrah

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has recommended the Arjuna Award for the names of four cricketers, including Jaspreet Bumrah, on April 27, 2019.

This prestigious award is given by the Sports Ministry to the players who have achieved outstanding achievement in the field of sports. The names of Mohammed Shami, Jaspreet Bumrah and Ravindra Jadeja have been recommended by the Indian Men's Cricket Team, while the Board of Poonam Yadav has recommended the Indian women's cricket team.

Poonam Yadav has performed a lot in Indian Women's Cricket Team in limited overs cricket. He is also a leg-spinner as well as a useful contributor to the bat.

Shami, Jadeja and Bumrah have done the best in all three formats of the game. Shami had a great performance on India's tour of New Zealand. At the same time Ravindra Jadeja has made a comeback in limited overs cricket from the Asia Cup.
